=== DOWNLOADS ===
Writing\general:
Basic writing guide
Simple manual covering principles of writing for AW.
Advanced writing guides
More sophisticated manual pack including everything you need to write more complex scenes, cheatsheets and list of around 70% of AW API calls [WIP].
Images\Icons:
Clothing icon example
PSD\TIFF with layers\PNG. This file can be used as a template for creating your own clothing icons. The clothing item is basically a mask (shape\hole with black borders in the gray filled layer so when the game color the icon it just fill the background "under" the image.) Shadows are made by using either 20% or 40% opacity black.
Paper Doll image base
PNG base of Paper Doll for creating your own images for clothes. What you need to do is to open the base file in any image editor which supports layers and draw your clothing item on the new layer. Then you turn off the base layer and save the image. Note that final result must be a piece of clothing floating on the right place without any body visible, the background of the file must be transparent, so .PNG only. The name of the file must be "IMG-*anyNameYouWant*.png". This image then must be packed with AWM image creator to a compatible image mod file and loaded into the game. Then, any clothing mod that has "padoImg:" value set to the name of the image file (NOT the .awm name, it must be set to the name of the image you packed into .awm!) will use it.
AWM Image Creator
Tool for inserting your own images to the game (Like clothes icons but it allow you to add basically any image to the game). You need to open the tool, upload the desired images into it and the tool will provide you with ready-to go .awm file which you can load in AW modding menu. You can call any image from your loaded .awm using [img[YourImageName] in text and just YourImageName in other places like objects.
Content-specific guides:
Schools and Jobs modding guide
Contains information on specific data objects of AW Schools and Jobs.
Example Mods
Archive with examples of various mod types.
