My written thoughts are confusing, I apologize if anyone's head spins while reading this...
I Finally got myself to apoint where I don't die in the first 2 or 3 weeks. I am liking the adventure thus far, but after I have reached the story's end (as of .33), I found I gained quite a bit of weight, because I thought, "let's look through menus and see what stuff does since now there are no pressures on time". After looking through most, if not all of them, I love how detailed these menus are. Nothing escapes the "Eye of Sauron". Or so it seems to me.
On to the reason for this post:
Now I go to work out in the gym the apartment provides, sometimes jogging in the park (but nothing more as my character is tired and unable to), tried swimming, and find I only get 1 workout because "energy" stats are low. A fair punishment for not watching (adverse) gains. But I don't see any "energy" increases from spending the better part of 4 (in game) weeks working out 1 time a day because that is all my character can handle before getting exhausted. I also tried buying the excersize bike, and I learned it costs no energy to use, and apart from the arousal gains from using it, there are no downsides to using it. Even the athletics skill levels up from the use of it all day. But like all of the other weight management tools, no losses.
Is this by design, and all I have to do is keep grinding to raise stats to do more than 1 workout, or is it a bug?
If it is not a bug, can anyone give tips on ways to boost "energy"? I am guessing a protein bar might help, but I don't think 1 bar lasts more than 1 day or more than 1 workout.
For the record, meals are set at average cost, no eat outs either. Not that they do much, if anything right now.
Regardless of my musings on weight and potential confusion surrounding it, I daresay this is one hell of an undertaking, and I salute you all for working on this.
