So I've been playing and saved up enough credits to buy the exercise bike for my character. No matter how much I use it I can't loose weight. Bicycles are a cardio workout. Cardio burns fat, it does not build muscle, but rather tones muscle. Yet my character packs on the mass and gains muscles like crazy. I end up "pudgy" with bulky muscles. Despite cutting my food budget to poor and starving myself (found out poor food budget means cheap, fattening, sh*t food. so I need to go above average budget for food to get healthier food) while cranking off from 1 to 2 hours on the exercise bike per day, I gain fat and bulk up with muscles. This should not be the case. Weight machines build muscle, not cardio bikes. Low calorie intake lowers weight, not adds to it. (again, same issue. so not going to repeat myself in correcting my error.) This isn't that big a deal, but it just bugs the hell out of me that while I'm trying to get my character to stay toned and lithe with diet and exercise and the game won't let me. In fact it pushes me in the opposite direction. (AND IT'S MY FAULT. Kinda.)
On another note of me picking at nits. Lily seems to be rather cold and distant when you tell her you're pregnant with her child. Is she really that much of a bitch that she just straight up doesn't care that she's going to be a mommy? 100/100 on the dials and she says "congrats" and "just doing my part" to the news that she's made you preggers? That's one cold bitch imo.
I'm wondering (since it doesn't say in the game) what happens to your children? Are they sent off to be raised by the government? Forcibly adopted out away from you? Because I've popped out 5 kids (hyper ovulatory and twin wombs) and there was no child care required from me. My milk is not needed for them, I don't have to change diapers, nada. That's a nice thing since that doesn't lend itself to being "sexy" and that's what you're going for so I understand WHY that gets left out, but I'm curious as to the in-game reasons why that is.
Like I said this is post more me being nitpicky than anything that's game breaking, so-o-o take it with a grain of salt.
Overall though, I'm enjoying the game. One of the best as far as this kind of game goes. Your character creation menu is the most interesting and in-depth I've ever seen in any electronic game. The setting and story are, so far, really great. The easy to find bad ends are somewhat annoying, but as I've played I've figured out ways to avoid them and progress the story. Anyways, thanks for letting me ramble on. Keep making this game better, and I'll keep enjoying it.
Edited: because I read another post that addressed some of what I was writing about here and needed to correct my false assumptions.
