I have an idea for a story-line via mods that I'd like to put together and eventually share with the community.
I'd like to build a career path for becoming a Porn Star. To reach this goal within the game, I'd create two paths - both of which can be completed individually or in combination for extra bonus/benefits.
One path - via a "school mod" will be a mentoring relationship with a retired porn legend. This path will focus largely on a self-employed model, building job skills like communication and organization as the player builds their own identity in the business.
The other path - via a "job mod" will be more job-like and while it will introduce a character that plays in concert with the mentor from the "school mod" it will focus more on performing skills since business concerns will be handled by the Male NPC who is the producer.
The mentor in the "school mod" and the producer in the "job mod" will be previously married and bitter towards each other, so the easiest route will be one mod or the other.
However, I'd like to write the mods so that when worked together, will reward the player richly if they succeed to navigate them without losing their relationship with either the mentor or the producer.
Each mod would have four levels - when combined, they will have a total of seven levels to play/complete as the first level of either mod will be skipped if the other mod has already been started.
Obviously any logic/writing problems are mine to resolve, but before I dig in:
Does this sound feasible/doable? Does it sound like an interesting addition?
